“Japanese Student Union” of Stanford Gives “Comfort Women” Presentation

“Japanese Student Union” of Stanford gave a presentation on Japan’s denial and failure to adequately apologize for its war crimes, and a brief history of Japanese Military’s sex slave system.

CWJC Judge Tang and Michael Wong at the lecture. We passed out KAFC and CWJC’s “Comfort Women” Resource guide and curriculum. Judge Tang discussed the success of putting a Comfort Women Memorial in SF and how we beat back the Japan lobby.  Michael Wong analyzed the connection between Japan’s increased militarism and rearmament and its denial of history.
